Foster

As a foster-based rescue organization we would not be able to do our work without foster volunteers.  Foster volunteers are heavily supported and trained. IDOG Rescue covers the cost of all supplies and veterinary care associated with dogs in foster care. This incredibly rewarding volunteer position is great for anyone with strong dog experience, the space to house a foster dog or a litter temporarily, and the patience to work with a wide variety of issues inherent to animals in transition. Administrative

Administrative volunteers help us call references, interview people looking for a doodle, review our lists of approved adopters to find potential matches, and more. This flexible, remote volunteer position is great for anyone who is people-oriented. 

Leadership

IDOG Rescue is governed by a volunteer Board of Directors.  Directors are responsible for the fiscal health and strategic success of the organization. This leadership position is great for anyone with philanthropy, fundraising, and strategic guidance capacity.
